Winter Branches

These photographs were taken by Max Darby in Malvern, Melbourne, in Winter 2013

Branches without leaves allow you to see their structure easily, making them challenging and interesting to make the focus of an artwork such as a drawing, painting or print. They might also encourage you to make your own photographic interpretations of similar topics, or to focus on different artistic characteristics in different seasons of the year.

The images will appear in both galleries when all have fully downloaded
