Shallow Waters: Seaside, Sandringham

These photographs were taken by Max Darby at Sandringham Yacht Club in July 2013

The shallow waters allow the various textured forms on the sea bed such as rocks, seaweed and the sand to be visible.

The transparency of the water with light, white, reflected tones provides challenges to be met by students in their artworks using pastels and paint. Alternatively, a student might take a series of photographs using a similar theme.
