Helen Mortlock de Gil: Watercolour Paintings

The following watercolour paintings were created by my friend and colleague Helen who lives and works in Venezuela, South America.

This exhibition is an on-going one where works will be added regularly.

The works already included are views from her Apartment windows looking across the city and, more recently, studies of plants and flowers.

They are made using pure watercolour on paper.

We knew Helen in Caracas many years ago and are the very proud owners of several of her watercolors that are placed throughout our home. So happy to know that she continues to paint and bring her special talents to the art world. Would love to renew contact with her if possible. Carino, Linnea and George

    Hi Helen
Paddy in Nottingham asked me to look at your blog as I am a fellow amateur artist at Doreen Hunt’s Monday morning classes. I must say I was impressed with your work, particularly the vegetables and the root structure you captured.
    Regards Joe Rice

Lovely work isn’t it Joe. I’ll let Helen Know. Max
