Block Prints of Leaves:Carey Grammar

These tree rubbings were made by Year 8 students at Carey Grammar School and were photographed by Max Darby

Students in Ruth McDonald’s Year 8 class at Carey Grammar School created these prints of leaves in 2012. They were made in association with the works found under the file titled Tree Rubbings: Carey Grammar School. The two series were combined in some of the works on this file.

Various background colours and forms, including embossed metal sheet, were used by the students.

The works were made under the guidance of Ruth McDonald and Max Darby.
